On saturday night we had a fun time with some dear friends. We were fortunate enough to get to enjoy a cook out with our friends from South Africa. They are some amazing christian people who we have met here. They cooked a fabulous meal out over an open bonfire. We got to try a stew, homemade bread and apple crisp all cooked over an openfire in the beautiful fall air. We have decided as a family to slow down and remove ourselves from the busyness that is so frequent in our society. Between the two families we had ten children. It was amazing to watch the children play as well as help with their siblings so that the families could all enjoy the evening. The boys were excited to run free and play chase with their friends. Amelia spent most of the time very concerned with were the families little dog was. Several times Amelia would say "Henry is following me" she had no idea the dog was paying no attention to her. Overall we had a wonderful time of food, fellowship and fall air!
