Today has been a success!

Well today has been a crazy day as Darcy worked the weekend- which made it very long- and then the kids have these two days off of school.  The day has had its ups and downs depending on the combination of children and activites- tonight we finally found a little space for everyone and they settled into their projects.  Walt was busy redrawing the map of Pearl Harbor, Samuel was painting Japanese planes and Amelia was supervising the activities while informing everyone she was not eating candy she was eating gum- as if some how bublicious has less sugar then regular candy- haha  The twins have spent most of the afternoon sleeping and are now sound asleep again at 7:55- guess they have not adjusted to the time change well!  Samuel tried out a gymnastics class today but they were not moving as fast as he would like- it is one of the things we are struggling with is how many things that we can be involved in and still remain sane- so far the balancing act has been a struggle- either i overcommit for the week and are very tired and grumpy or undercommit and sit home wishing for plans- i am sure as we start the homeschooling adventure that i will have plenty to do on my days home- now off to put little ones in bed!
