Another Complicated Day:)

Well i was thinking that the beauty shop thing would last the one day and that would be that- somehow as a mother you never realize how long kids can keep going with the same idea.  Amelia has woken up everyday ready to do my make up and hair for the day.  Let's just say she is a little spoiled because she is so cute!! So i agree to play beauty shop agian- as i have no good excuses as it is 18 degrees outside and know that I have no business taking the twins anywhere in that kind of weather!  So here we go with the old very gross make up- lots of lipstick that is placed all over my face- she has found my mascara and thinks that it goes on eyebrows- well it was a day off of school and the boys were happily playing legos and the babies trying to roll over on their blanket on the floor- so i was a mom headed to a 3 year olds beauty shop- as the make up session was ending I hear the doorbell ring- what??? nobody in their right mind just stops by my crazy house probably because they are afraid they will be sucked in and never leave:)  I yell for Darcy in the basement- who is busy working- he is irritated that i am not answering the door- when he gets to the top of the basement stairs he gives me a weird look- I am praying that he notices that this is not how i normally look!  He answers the door to my japanese neighbors who have come bearing christmas gifts.  He motions for me to come to the door- yeah right and how do i explain all this to my friend who speaks little english- well needless to say i don't go to the door and feel horrible- then i take another look in the mirror and decide it was for the best that i stayed hidden- tonight as it was getting close to the time for Darcy to get home Amelia states "mommy i can make you so pretty for when daddy gets home" I remind her we have a puzzle from Santa to do- this was a distraction that worked!  Since dinner was not made, babies fussy the last thing i need was to take a trip to the three year old booty shop!
