Yeah for the new Lungs!!!

After waiting on the lung transplant list for a little over a year my dear friend Emily received a lung transplant yesterday!  We are so excited for the new life that this will give her and an end to the pain and struggle she has been going through.  Please check out her blog site (link under friends that says Jason and Emily).  Her life is a wonderful testimony of what it means to trust God through the difficult times- to know that he has a plan when it seems like what you are going through could not possibly be part of his plan.  Emily is an amazing person and we feel very fortunate that she married one of our treasured friends!!  Jason and Emily we will pray for you and the challenges ahead-as well as the amazing adventures that you will have! It seems that life is so complicated as we celebrate the "new life" that Emily has been given it is also humbling to think about the family that has lost a loved one.  It is hard to imagine the grief of losing one so close as it has been several years since I have had to experience something like that and I think your mind does not let you remember that level of grief.  I pray that the family will be able to see the new life that they have given Emily and that one some level that will provide them some comfort.
