The longest 3 nights

We made it- we survived 3 nights alone with Darcy working and I am still a sane person.  Due to his schedule at work he has to put in a couple of nights to get all these great days off- well i knew that the time would come when he would go back i was just hoping that the twins would be at least 5- haha  Well we survived and everyone was feed- i found the trick to stay up all hours in the middle of the night feeding twins is to have the tv on.  I have learned all kinds of interesting things about the people in our society and lets just say most of it is things I would rather not know- Anyway the kids did very well for spending most of the weekend waiting on  me- i have never spent so much time feeding a little one- We were still able to have some fun times and laugh amid all the craziness- on Sunday afternoon we got horrible wind from what was left over of the hurricane.  We had wind gusts of 70 miles an hour and that was enough for me to know that i will never stay in an area where a hurricane is coming!  Too scary!  Well due to all the tress on power lines the kids have been out of school for 2 days!  Which leads me to the next thing I have to be thankful for is that the number of people without electricity is  crazy- i can only imagine what our night Sunday would have been like with Darcy working and no electricity- i would be in the nut house for sure-   Well we are so excited that fall is officially here!  We are looking forward to camp outs, roasting marshmellows- running and playing in the cool air!  Oh- in the middle of our crazy weekend my sister paid for a babysitter to come over and help with the twins- our favorite sitter came over Sunday afternoon and was a life saver- allowed me time to do laundry, make beds, feed babies all while the older kids had someone playing with them- heaven!  During this Amelia tells Rachel (sitter) how George pushed her out of the bed (stuffed animal)  she goes on to say that sometimes he will pull her hair etc. but he pushed her out of the bed- "I am going to give george a spanking"  at the same time Walt starts telling how the class pet hamster got stuck in a mouse trap while staying with one child.  the look on Rachel's face was priceless- i am afraid that if she spends too much time with us the kids may scare her away from ever having children- haha  Darcy returns to work this weekend for 4 nights- yikes but this time we are so excited as Nana is coming to visit- and also Waffles the class hamster (we will have to put all mice traps up.)
