scheduling is crazy
well i am learning that twins is testing my ability to get anywhere on time. This morning i somehow missed the alarm clock going off so made the mad dash to make lunches, breakfast etc. in order to get the boys to school- this is my most hated thing to have happen as i treasure my time with the kids in the morning and hate when it consists of rushing around. Today i had planned to meet with the women from my bible study to get together and hang out and just enjoy each others fellowship- i totally underestimated the time it would take to get the twins ready- and then once they were changed and dressed i realized that they would need to eat while I was at the get together- i quickly realized i am back at the point in life were there are times when it is easier to stay home then go out! My mom is coming in town this weekend to help us around the house as Darcy is working another 4 nights. We are happy that Nana will be here to help take care of babies and also just hang out with us. Amelia has totally changed over night. She has become quite a little girl- she is dressing up most of the time and also carries around a doll "molly" who takes a lot of time to fed, burp etc. Amelia looked at me today and said" it is hard to be a mommy" sing it sister- the boys spent most of the last two days running and playing outside- due to all the hugs wind gusts (up to 70 miles an hour) sunday the power is still out in a lot of areas. It was two beautiful fall days so the kids were thrilled to be free to run and play. We spent most of the day on Tuesday hanging out with some friends who homeschool so it was such a nice time.
