Pearl Harbor is one of the boys favorite things for the boys to talk about- they want information about the time period- the president etc. The school that the boys are currently attending is not strong in history so they love when they get info. The other day Darcy said that the boys could watch the battle scene on the movie if they could pass a quiz on Pearl Harbor. To help the boys understand the concept of the war and what happened that day Darcy got out the pieces to risk and the rest is history- haha. Well the boys were excited beyond belief at the wonderful layout that Darcy made for them- what little boys would not like to play out the scene as part of their history lesson. I told Darcy this homeschooling thing might work- i am going to promote him to teacher! It was great to hear the boys explain to me what they had learned- i love when history comes alive!
