A Cold Winters Night

We have had a busy day filled with a whole lot of crazy winter time activites.  We headed to the gym early this morning as Walt was trying out a new gymnastics class.  He loved the class and was really good at it-  he has started to be very coordinated and enjoys sports a lot more than last year.  That is always a good thing in the winter when the kids have a lot of extra energy.  Amelia is still sick- she has a cold but it is taking her a while to kick this one- i am thinking that is because the weather has been so cold and dry.  Samuel has spent too mcuh time playing hockey on playstation and is now convinced Darcy should take a job in Minnesota or Wisconsin so he can really learn to play.  A little obsessive- and I wonder were he gets that.  Well the kids are officially free from the public school and I must say it feels great!  We were going to get icee's and celebrate after school Friday but Samuel fell on the way to the car and skinned up his face- looks really bad but is getting better.  The twins have been hilarious as they are starting to talk to you and smile all the time- which means they are not wanting to nap much- which makes for one tired mama- i am surprised that with the twins and the lack of sleep this is the first time after having a baby that i am not short tempered- i guess i am too tired to even be short tempered- haha actually i am ahead of myself for christmas shopping or should i say making as i am determined to make gifts this year- as it just means so much more for the giver and the receiver!  Well i am going to post some random pics as my husband was so great to go get some batteries for my camera- luckily at the spelling bee the other night my friend got some pics of Walt!

I cannot get over how big and grown up Walt looks! You have some darn cute little faces to take care of every day, that's for sure. Sorry Samuel got skinned up -- and just as you were going to go celebrate too! Oh well! Like your haircut too.
