Halloween

Halloween came way too fast this year- the boys wanted me to buy them storm trooper costumes- but I decided to be frugal and make then either wear something they had or make something.  Walt decided that he would be a clown like he was the previous year- he liked this as nobody could tell who he was- Samuel was completely convinced that with enough begging I was sure to give in and spend 40 dollars on the costume for him ( i am assuming he has still not realized how stubborn his mother is!)  He finally agreed to go as a police officer for the school parade-  he also informed met hat he was going to be a robot that night- he got as far as spray painting his box and then was off to something else.  Through some help from dad the robot box turned into a voting box and he was the hit of the neighborhood- although it was quite ironic as he does not like attention on him so all the people talking to him about his costume made him very nervous.  Amelia tried on a million different outfits before deciding to be a dancing butterfly (she was wearing her tap shoes).  She fell a couple good times on the hardwood floor and went back for her crocs- just a regular butterfly this year!  Overall the kids had a blast- they got so much candy i am going to have to find some creative way to get rid of it- or else deal with hyper children for the next year!  The twins hung out with Darcy on the front porch while he handed out candy and me and the others walked the neighborhood!
