Life with Five

Today was one of those days- that you know is coming and you think that somehow you will jsut skip over it- although I had no real plan to do that:)  Tuesdays we spend at coop and this one I had all the kids with me as Darcy had worked the night before.  So i had everything ready to go and somehow thought if all the bags were packed and clothes laid out it would be a morning were i would get a cup of coffee before we raced out the door.  We got to coop in plenty of time and the blessing of working in the nursery first hour is that i can leave the twins in their pjs till then.  I woke up tired and was hoping in some crazy way that someone would have a temperature- after feeling all the foreheads i realized we were off to coop- upon leaving the house it was raining- in my mind i am trying to figure out how i am going to get the twins into the building without getting wet- well since i had no solution (very tired brain) i just made due-we are doing a lot of that lately:)  The day was going well- almost too well- i feed the twins and laid them down in the beds they have there and went on to class- after the second class i checked them and they were still asleep- what?? they do not sleep this long at home- guess we just need more noise and lights- is that even possible- as we are leaving coop another mom stops me and says- "how many kids do you have?" I said "five- do you want a couple" i think that she did not find the humor in my joke- how could i part with one of my little angels- it is fun to teach them and see them in class as I can see little bits of me in them- samuel bored out of his mind in handwriting was totally me as i as an adult was trying to find some reason to leave the class:)  well another day completed all tucked in bed- and ready for another day of learning, laughing and trying to survive- in the middle of it all we are learning just how gracious God has been with our family- how blessed we are to have a family and how much home is the place to hide out from the world to recharge so we can once again head into the mission field tomorrow!
