Samuel's Birthday

Well one of my little ones turned 6 last week- oh where does the time go- I had a wonderful visit form my dear friend Abby and she helped make Samuel's actual birthday very special.  We also planned a night at Lazer Tag for his friends- all he wanted was 12 kids to play lazer tag- not sure where that number came from but after inviting a couple friends and then their siblings it was close to 12.  He was excited about them all going together and then the plan was for them to come back to the house for cake and pizza.  Sounded like a great plan as i was sending out the invitations but then the reality set in about 20 minutes before everyine arrived back at the house that I had not even thought about where all the kids would sit or why i did not buy paper plates- or why i thought decorating the cookie cake at the last minute was a good idea.  Well all was great- the wonderful thing about having a large table is lots of room for extra chairs- we managed to pull off a great party and the kids had a blast as well as a wonderful time of fellowship for the adults.  Samuel was most pleased at how things went and as an exhausted little one fell into bed her hugged my neck and said "that was the most wonderful day". I think as the middle child in a bunch of chaos it was nice to have a little time that was all about him!  Happy Birthday Samuel!!!
