Thank You!!

Well I was looking back at some of the posts i made and realized that I missed some important things I want to remember when all the craziness of the twins infancy is over.  The second week of the twins life my dad and sister traveled to visit with us and pick up my mom. The visit was awesome as it has been quite some time since my dad and sister were actually at our house. It is always nice to have people come and visit and see the kids at their own house when they are not tired from traveling.  My mom was an amazing help with the twins and also with the older kids- she has the talent of making everyone feel very special in the middle of chaos.  My dad was able to sneak away from work and relax while at our house.  My dad is a man driven by schedule and also one that is used to the farm and being able to roam outside in God's beautiful land.  Our house can be a bit of a challenge for this free spirit as we are in a neighborhood with close neighbors- haha.  Darcy and my dad were able to take in the county fair- were Darcy won several ribbons for his photos and Samuel won a ribbon for his drawing of Indiana Jones (his favorite)  the picture consisted of a person with a mustache and beard below his smile- perfect 5 year old style!  My sister was a blast- my favorite memory was her helping me with the babies at night and stating "i don't know why Ella won't take her pacifier- oh crap maybe it is because i am trying to put it in her ear"  childcare at 2 am is always difficult- haha  Overall it was such a blessing for my family to be here and celebrate life with us- we are hoping to have the same wonderful experience again at Thanksgiving but with my brother and brother-n-law and nieces able to join in the fun this time as well.  Let's just hope that the boys do not take to tattooing everyone at thanksgiving like they did in August!

Loved reading your last few posts. Don't know how you have the time to keep up as well as you do. Your children are precious. Love Amelia's remarks. I think Indy and Samuel would get along just great -- oh and you can tell him that Indy is named for Indiana Jones. :)
