Nana

Thank you does not seem like quite enough to say to my mom.  She flew in this weekend to help out with the twins- it was so wonderful to have her here and also the help was amazing.  She brought with her the usual treats for the kids and some amazing treats for me.  She has been working on some blankets for the babies and they are amazing.  It would be wonderful to be so talented but at least i am on the recieving end of the talent- haha!  Well I know that I never tell my mom quite all the things that I appreciate about her and really do a poor job at mother's day because it seems to be such a fake holiday- i am one of those opposed to the commercialness (is that a word) of the holidays.  Today I thought i would list some of the things that make you so great mom in hopes that you will read this!!

What makes you special to Us!

1. Your smile (you are so quick to smile and we love it best when you are walking towards us at the airport)

2.  The love you have for my kids

3. Dancing in the kitchen

4. Laughing at Keeping up Apperances

5. Homemade Projects ( i swear they look just like pottery barn)

6. Shop and Drop

7. Coloring our hair too late at night and then thinking it looks as good as the professional job

8. Discussing the bible late into the night

9. Encouraging each other to be patient and long suffering

10. Teaching Amelia to do a cart wheel

11. Knowing that you Pray for us!

12. Holidays at the Farm!

13. Teaching me to sew, hang pics, etc. and excepting that I am not the perfectionist you are!

14. You love to rearrange furniture as much as me ( this is hard to find)

15. Staying with me at the hospital when every baby was born 

16. Making me laugh so hard after my c- section till i was in tears (from pain)

17.  talking to my children about God!

Most of all Nana we love you because of the wonderful example we see of Christ in you- thank you for all the time, energy and countless things you do that make us better people!  We love you!
